I never said I was going to make it optional for each user... or at least I don't remember saying that.

I think the mod is fine as is though.

Could you consider to place a little checkbox which can send a user back to post or index? Would help me more as an global option.

If I choose "Notify of replies" and hit post, it takes me back to the message index.
If I DONT choose that option and post, it takes me to the message.....

I have this problem too - any solutions to it?

I just found a small Problem with this mod.
If you check the box to be notified of any post's, you get sent back to the message index regardless.

Chris, any idea what the fix may be?

Yes it works for 1.4.1 and there hasn't been any problems with the new flag... so what are you talking about?

Sorry - i read in the ealier posts on this thread something about the reason it took you back to the mesage index was for the New post flag or something.

When it takes you back to the topic, it sets the flag so it is not set to new any longer. Of course maybe they where wanting it to be set to new... but I am not sure. :-\

Anyway it works as it should.

is this something that will be in ver 1.5 as a standard feature? Seems like it should be.

Most likely not... although I already have one of my mods built into 1.4.0/1.4.1... the new instant message mod. 8)

It is a very good mod though, it even lets you choose which you want to use, go back to the post or message index in your admin center.
