I have finished another mod... this one makes it so that when you post it will take you back to the post instead of to the message index. You can turn this mod on or off in the installed 'mods' settings and options section in your admin center.

I used your YaBBPak (don't wanna start modify my Forum now with BoardMod cause it's about half past 4 here)

Well I am glad you liked it, I am going to start putting all my mods onto my package server, so if there where any of my mods you wanted to try but didn't want to use boardmod, you will be able to install them soon.

The only one that will not be put up is the member list button mod, because I have been having problems with putting images in it(I think it may be a bug with the YaBBPak creator). But all the rest of my mods will be up there.

We'll i don't have problems with using BoardMod SE in general issues but here in Germany we have about 5 o'clock in the morning that was my problem

I like your idea to put your nods on the Pak Server if the YaBBPaks are coded correctly they are much more comfortable than using BoardMod an starting to upload the files and so on

Well I do plan on releasing the boardmod versions first, then if there is no problems with them I will port it to the YaBBPak version and put it up on my server. The only reason I didn't do that this time was because it is a small and simple mod that most undboubtebly works. I have had this installed at my board for quite some time, the funny thing is most of my users didn't even notice...

I hope my users will recognize it. The last two weeks after i converted my Y1G Board they startet to cry for this "lost" Feature, if they don't recognize i'll go crazy

But do remember I never told my members about it going back to the post now, so they weren't ever looking for it, so they might not have noticed it.

I like your YP-Server, downloaded all. Made the Test runnning and 3 of 4 having no Probs. The Only YP with a Problem is 'Back to Post', it gives me a 'String not found', though that String is definitly there. I think I'll do that per Hand.

And now I can use that Great Global Mod Thing again, my Board was just waiting for that YP-Version.

Well either the string is a little bit off, or YaBBPak has bugs(I do beleive it has bugs because I have found a few myself.) They are not bugs with my YaBBPaks, but with the center itself...

Nice mod, how about a future ver where it displays a page after posting for a couple of seconds giving the option to return to the post or go back to the message index?

Hmmm, maybe... I could add it as an option to turn on or off in the installed 'mods' settings and preferences section... I will look into this. Thanks for the idea.

Ummm Chris, the reason why you went back to the messageindex was so that the new flag would be removed from the post.

Have you ever moved a message to another board, it moves you back to the post, but when you go back to the messageindex that moved post is marked moved.

That the reason why it was set to move you back to messageindex. If you want to make this an offical mod, you need to figure out how we can remove the new flag.

If you can figure this out, Jeff and Joseph may add it to YaBB SE 2.   or even 1.4 if you can figure it out sooner.

As of yet only thing we could figure out is leave it at messageindex.

(I had this mod done long time ago and couldn't figure out how to remove the new flag.)
