updated IM 1.3.1 error

When messaging a user with a space in their name, IM omits the space and I get an error that the user does not exist.

ie. user name is "test test" and IM sees it as "testtest" notice the space missing.  What do I do to fix this?

A fix for this was posted weeks ago in the Bugs 1.3 board.  Look for a post called IM Error - it's a sticky thread.
