odd problem i cant describe well..

When my users copy and past stuff into the post message box and post it more often than not stuff like "I'm" cuts and pastes across to become  "I’m""..." becomes something daft too.

Any idea how to stop it happening, its got me stumped

Try having them paste it into notepad and then copy it from notepad into the forum.  My guess is they are coming from something like Word which uses a rich text format that doesn't work here.

thats what I suggested, and it works, but apparently it wasnt a problem with yabb gold....
