Email not being sent to new members

The last 3 or 4 members that have signed up for my board never recieved any kind of email. I signed up a test account with the same result. I verified the path to sendmail, and it is correct. I can email members using the "email your members" link in the admin section, but the automatic email is not generated. Running v. 1.3 with all bug fixes.

is it configured in your pnp.ini file to sendmail...? if not it wont send nothing

First, I'm not finding a pnp.ini file.

Second, I do have the forum set to use sendmail, and the path to sendmail set in the admin section. I am able to email members using the "email your members" link, it's just that new members are not sent a password email.

And are you letting them choose their own passwords? in the admin section, do you have it checked to send new members a welcome email?

I do have it selected to send new members an email. That's what is so confusing. There were one or two people that never came back after the original email, so I started to wonder about it, and had a few of my friends sign up for accounts. 1 out of the 5 I asked to sign up got the email. I myself have not gotten the email on the test account I created a week ago. I have verified that the email addresses were correct. This has only really happened since I upgraded to 1.3.

mcguire means php.ini, was probobly a typo, anyway, search for "[mail function]" withought the "s and see if those settings are correct.

All settings correct in php.ini.

In any event, it seems to be working again, which is strange. I'm assuming it was a problem with sendmail, and not with the board. Thanks for the help, guys.
