Error in Maintenance Mode

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong.

As Administrator I put the BB into Maintenance mode.
Then I logged out. Fine so far.

When I tried logging in with a username and password that does not have Administrator rights, it logged in! It presented me with the normal home page. After that, every button and link gave me the Maintenance Mode message and restricted me, but it let me log in.

Now I've logged back in as Administrator and that other user is still logged in.

1) Bug or silly mistake?
2) Is there a way of removing everyone from the system instantaneously? Is that what Clear Active Log means?

Thanks,
Paul.

None of them. That's just the way it is. This is completely harmless.

As far as I know there is no way to remove the logins. Cleaning Active logs means: you erase the infos you see in the menu pos "View forum access log".

The Clear Active log erases the contents of log_online - it's simply a legacy function from Y1G as that file in Y1G had a history of becoming corrupted.

Thanks for your replies. ;)
I have found that if I click Clear Active Log, it logs off everyone but me, which is useful at the time of going into a maintenance.

It seems to me that if Maintenance Mode is active, people should not be able to log in at all, even for one page, so I've created a fix and it's posted in the Bug Fix section, in case anyone's interested.

Cheers, Paul.
