How do I keep that from appearing in the profiles of newly registered members? I've gotten some complaints from people who think I added that.

Can I leave a blank space?

in all your *.lng so you have more then one language installed!

the member that registered before you changed this, have this in his profil yet. if you want to change that, you have to change their profiles! if you have too many users so you can write a little script that altered your membertable in your database!
