Long story short:
I just switched from the Perl version of YaBB to YaBB SE because the forum I run is a pretty active place and my host has shut us down on more than one occasion because they said "CPU loads were going out of control." I installed 1.4.1 specifically because the mute mod hasn't been updated for either 1.5.0 or 1.5.1 yet, and I'd muted rather than outright removed a few members who were causing problems on my forum (it's actually worse for them to be able to read the forum without taking part than it would be if they were banned). But I'm also having the same problem that new topics can't be started. Was a fix ever given for this?

When I go to create a New Topic it errors with topic not found

It tries to do /index.php?board=4;action=post;title=Start%2Bnew%2Bthread

I assume the %2B should be %20 but where??!?!



I have posted this in the german section also.. (I did use MC600 link for the 1.4.1 version)

I have got it to work now..

Changed $txt[464] in english.lng so it is this

$txt[464] = "Start new thread";

It was $txt[464] = "Start+new+thread";

Dunno why or how... it works though

Both that I think are complete thread changes..

Can you adjust to make your mod complete thread compatable (or whatever made this change)?

Where can this mod be downloaded from?  None of the links that I've seen are active anymore.
