Can't get attachments to work.

I don't know how to set my attachments to work properly in the admin area.  Every time I try to attach a file I get this error message:

2: OpenDir: No such file or directory (errno 2)
(/usr/home/c/h/christianphoto/public_html/forum/Sources/ModifyMessage.php ln 217)

Any help would be appreciated.

Pancho.

You have to make a directory named attachments and chmod it to 777 in the root directory of YaBB SE. Then you go to the admin section and find the settings for attachments. There you have two paths you have to set. One is the path to the attachments folder in the server, for example /home/users/llama/public_html/community/attachments/. And the other one is the URL address to the attachments, for example http://www.mynewsite/community/attachments

For your attachments path put this:

/usr/home/c/h/christianphoto/public_html/forum/Attachments

Thanks for being willing to help me.  Unfortunately I still can't get the program to work properly.  I wrote the path as you suggested, but still got this error message:

2: OpenDir: No such file or directory (errno 2)
(/usr/home/c/h/christianphoto/public_html/forum/Sources/Post.php ln 603)

I set the attachments upload path to:

/usr/home/c/h/christianphoto/public_html/forum/Attachments

I haven't got a clue what's going on.

What are the paths you entered at the moment? Also did you put them case sensitively. I mean attachments is not the same thing as Attachments. Make that sure :)
