hmmm, might be a problem with your cookies. Are you sure you have enabled them in your browser and/or set the site in lowest security mode? If your cookies are enabled, sometimes changing the cookiepassword and cookieusername variables in Settings.php to just another value might help.

somewhere in Settings.php there is something like $YaBBCookiePassword = 'blabla'; and $YaBBCookieUsername = 'blabla'; (I'm not sure about the exact variable names, since I cannot check from here). Changing both of these settings to whatever might resolve a conflict between different YaBB versions using the same cookies.

Ok the forum is up and running fine except I cannot access the Admin panel nor most of the other selections on the task bar.  I have no errors other then "You are not authorized to access"  I found the Cookie code but the other Yabb help file from Yabb Gold says u dont need to change them and that forum works fine.  I can run other php programs w/o a hitch including the XMB forum with admin rights so there must be something not set correctly. Anyone have any ideas?  I like the Yabb forums and want to move everything to it.

I resolved the issue with administrator rights.  It seems that MySQL didnt like me using the same user and password for both the DataBase and the Forum Administrator.  Once I changed the Forum Admin to a diff username it worked immediately
