Sound For A PM

Well when you log into the board and if you have a private message a sound goes of like YOU GOT MAIL something so you can add the sound to that like adding a picture to your name there was a hack for it on the old yabb cgi boards worked great anyway hope someone can do this

1.) an advanced pm system has been in the works for a very long time.
2.) 1.0.0 has been out since the beginning

the next release is 1.3.0

Iw ould love this as well- It has been brought up several times so I am sure they know people would like it, but not a priority

SP1 has a Mod like this.

Option of playing a wav file from a library of sounds supplied by YaBB or import your own. Also having a Pop-up window option to let you know you have an IM.

Right now, the only option is for email notification ... which kind of diminishes the purpose of having an INSTANT MESSAGE. Email notification doesn't make it very instant.

I miss this feature.
