Accidentally sent admin a new password

I was testing the send password thingy, but admin had the orginal email [email protected] or something like that and so it sent the new password to email that doesnt exist. So how am i going to get my admin password back? I would like it to send the same password to the user not a new one, what setting should I change?

I also wonder why the no new posts and new posts pics sometimes disappear, the whole td where they are disappears.

Do you have phpmyadmin?  if so, just login and change the email address manually.

I downloaded phpmyadmin but I couldnt find admins password, where will I find it ???

Hm...I Believe You Wont Be ABle To Find Your Password Because Its Encrypted ..The Only Way For You To Get It Back Is Like Jefflewis said just change the email addy and your password will be sent to you...

Where can I find the admins email address in phpmyadmin  ;D

heres something for you to do... register a new user and use this tool: http://www.yabb.info/adminrestore.zip

oh upload the script to your server and set that new user as an admin and change ur original admin accounts password and you'll be set.  dont forget to delete the tool when ur done.

Ok thanks!
I used my friends account and I would like to change him back to moderator, how can I do that?
I also noticed that sending new passwords to email isnt a good thing. Sending the old password is the best way

Heh, well we assume you changed your original account right?  Log in with your original account and change your froend back out of admin :)
