I must be missing something. Where is the announcements Mod. Must I install 1.1.0 or is it in 1.0 or can it be added?

OK, I thought I was just dense. Is there an ETA for 1.3.0? I wan't to do away with my news page and use an announcement board instead.

Reading the upgrade instructins for 1.1.0 I think I'll wait till we have a little less "hands on" update ;-) How far off is 1.3.0

My PHP is running in safe mode, I read the Updrade howto FAQ and got seriously lost. When I need to get into PHPMyAdmin and load queries, I'm lost!

If somebody could tell how to backup and restore a database I might be a little braver ;-)
