Can't access Admin Section

Up until today, i was able to access my admin section without any problems.

Now it keep saying page not found. Is anyone having this problem. A frined of mine is having the same problem as me by the way.

Hmm I tried commenting out the section of admin.php that looks up the yabbinfo.xml but that hasn't helped. I too have been experiencing this problem.

I haven't had any problems until yesterday when someone signed up with an offensive name. I went to my admin centre to rename them and add the name to the reserved names list but it just stalled at the loading stage for about 10 minutes, not doing anything. Until that point the admin centre had worked fine. Other sections load instantly.

I have tried deleting the yabbinfo.xml file (although that didn't help so I placed it back there) and have thoroughly checked my database which suggests nothing is wrong. Any ideas?

I just installed Yabbse.  Everything is working fine except when I try to access the Admin section... then I get the following error:

2: fopen("./yabbinfo.xml","w") - Permission denied

have you chmod this file to 666? you have to chmod all php and the xml file to 666!
