I cannot modify my profile nor access admin. suggestions?

Getting 'you must register' messages when I have already registered 3 different names. Can someone please help me out here? If this mysql version is so buggy I think I'll just go back to the old one...

Please post a URL for us to look at.  Have you looked over the FAQ and seen where there is one about having trouble staying logged in?

And it's a cookie thing. I have looked over various posts. And it was not as simple as searching the forum via the search function. I tried changing the settings.php, didn't work.

But.. deleting my cookies did. I also renamed my cookies for the forum.

In conclusion, logging in to one forum from another seems to gibble (yes that's right, gibble) the cookies.
