I've downloaded both version of the safe mode installer, uploaded and when I run either version it says my server is running in safe mode and to download the safe mode version of the installer from yabb.info - this IS the safe mode version!

Any ideas?

I had the same bug too. It is an ugly mistake ::). Only chance - as far as I know - is to download 1.0 and upgrade to 1.1.0.

Look: http://www.yabb.info/community/index.php?board=154;action=display;threadid=4278

Update.php is include in the 1.1.0 pack.

Am I going mad?

I can't install the latest version because the safe mode version doesn't actually have the safe mode install script in the package so I downloaded the first version.

Great the installer runs and I get to the bit where it asks if I want to set up an Admin account or I can skip it if I'm going to convert, then.....that's it!! No option to convert and no convert.php in either of the two packages I've downloaded for the first version.

Is the converter a seperate download somewhere?

Oh another thing - neither package has anything in the yabbhelp folder other than two directories. Is this right?

In my 1.1 safe-mode package are Help-files.
Normally there are 2 (1.0) or 4 (1.1) files in the packages-folder ! Check again, if they are not there, copy them from the safe-mode package.

See above, you have to install 1.0, then copy the new files over the old ones and finally run update.php ! Read this topic

I have a converter.php in my safe-mode-1.1-package ! First install 1.0, then upgrade to 1.1 and then convert your old files.

Hope this helps...
