Who has the best free webhosting service?

I use coolfreepages cuz it was free and fast to find/setup. Also, because their main ad page said all there would be is a pop-BEHIND ad that pops up behind the main page and stays hidden until you leave my site. For anyone that's ever used or visited coolfreepages, u'll find this NOT true. The ad pops up in FRONT of everything and is extremely annoying. I have already lost a TON of potential members.

Does anyone know of a better free host? I have no problems with banner ads, but I HATE those pop ups. I need a free one because I am a student in college, a father of 2, and my wife does not work. I only make $10/hour for the 4 of us. Any ideas? (I heard Spaceports.com is good??)

Don't use Spaceports.com !
They are not actual enough to get this board running without massive problems...

I am sure portland would work, but like I said, you have to have your own domain, or register one with them. As far as coolfreepages, click here to find out

Free Hosts:

coolfreepages: good, but ads are annoying and it tends to be slow at times

spaceports: i heard its annoying

portland: ok, but they offer little space and bandwidth

barry's world: no mysql

multimania: one of your best bets! unlimited space, bandwidth, subdomain, but there is a pop up ad that only appears on normal pages. It doesn't appear on the yabbse forums for some reason  

gametribe.net: 200mb, 5GB transfer, NO ADS, subdomain, a good substitute for multimania
