Safe Mode - PHP4U+mySQL won't install

Hmm, some weird problems here.. on this page, you push proceed and go to the next page, and use the settings it has.. it won't install Also using "community" which I want to do won't work either!Very strange..

I also have this page for you guys to look at the PHP4U settings and mySQL.. I've fiddled about with it but it won't work

Any suggestions? I've changed settings.php, but still no luck

As you can see I don't have the best of luck with safe mode But why do so many hosts use it?

So you dont screw their server somehow and in safe mode you can install YaBB only to the dir where install.php is.

Have you stuck on 4th step?
Check chmod of yabb.sql. I dont have any other idea.

I'm trying to install it into the directory with install.php in it All chmod is correct, don't know what else to do.. I get stuck on step ONE

And you sure that pic isn't you?

well read what the error is... you cant use the name yabbse.... did your host only give you one database to work with?

I don't know, I enabled php and mysql from their web site, and I would've thought it would've allowed me to use mysql for this. I haven't used the mysql database for anything else

Plus it doesn't help I don't really understand most of it on the site

Hmm.. I'll check that site again, see what it says..

I can't see anything about any number of databases for mySQL.. I'd guess there's just the one, then..

try the name as your username for your site or the site name

No luck .. Even with it changed in settings.php..
