Settings need to be entered twice.

When I want to change the settings of my mods in the admin section, I have to save the settings, save...then re-open the settings screen again (now it displays my settings were not saved), then I have to re-enter the exact same changes in the settings again, save again, and then finally my settings are stored.
When I try to make other changes or other combination of changes in between, it does not work.

I run Win98, PWS, PHP4 and MySQL 4. It occurs with both database-stored variables as with setting-file stored variables. My other installation (NT, IIS4, PHP4, MySQL4) does not have any problems.

Anybody? Because this entering my settings twice, combined with the slow response time which I mentioned in my other post, is giving me a headache.

When I change settings in let's say template,  I'm redirected to the admin section and nothing has changed so far. But when going to any other page from there, i.e. BoardIndex, the new settings are executed.
Did you try this?

Yeah, I tried that....it just does not work.

I checked where they are stored, and they just don't get stored the first time. Only after the second time, I can see the changed vars in the database table for example.
