Sorry to tell you that, I know you guys do, on another hand, a great work. However, the W3C XHTML 1.0 icon at the bottom of this page is more than just a decoration for your Web page. You just can't leave that there when your page is far from being compatible. The CSS validator also gives full of errors.
I got here after visiting the Web site of guy who copied your source code and paste it to make his pages. He does mention something like "Based on YaBB SE. design " :P  poor recognition...

Yes, yes, I know.  Part of it is that stupid Google ad.

Regardless, YaBB SE is not being developed anymore - and, anyway, if you download it it *will* validate out of the box.  SMF also validates fine ;).
