A total PHP MySQL Novice :) - but getting better!

My members keep asking for some sort of spell checker. does anyone know how this could be acheived.
I am sure i had one when i was running yabb cgi (Oops even forgotten what it was called for the moment)

Actually, I've gotten a lot of requests for it myself.

I'm about ready to write up a linux version and windows version of this mod.  I just don't know anything about pspell, and I have no idea how to do it on windows.

I kind of doubt anyone is going to make this... the mod isn't the problem... but the word lists would be a MAJOR task to take care of that could take a VERY long time.

I think there is a way for calling Word's spell checker (that is if you have word) in java.

Well if you use internet explorer you could try iespell. I myself use this. :)

IE has iespell, which is free, and Mozilla based browers should be including a spell checker at somepoint soon as well. So it really doesn't make sense to include it in the forum software.
