Trusting admins?

Ok, heres how it went! I got admins, i could trust, and one backfires, and delets my account, from MY own BOARD! I got my account bak etc, but is there a mod where NO ADMIN CAN DELETE THE 1st person, or the amin admin, or what ever you want to call it???

Just make your admins global moderator then, or simply ban them.

Well my topic can be linked with the 'To modify profile ?' topic and the last post made one it.

I think the idea behind this is that a global moderator hasn't enough functions, and a administrator has to much. My idea is to create a new administrator account and allow the headadministrator to choose the functions this administrator will have. I like this idea.

If you had a head admin, then admins, the admins can't delete the head admins account! That would be good right?

Well if you made them admins, it means you trust them. If they are fooling around with accounts and deleting them. Then they shouldn't be admins.

But the quote fro my admin was 'I was testing my limitations'.   And i cinda believe him, but you could make the mod or build it in, in your next relese, you might wanna think about it =)

I belive this will be a feature in Trinity.  Maybe someone will make a mod for 1.5.1.

I would make a mod, if i had the knowledge!   But i don't, so thats that! Maybe ill get a friend to do it!

That wouldn't be too hard for anyone to add to the code.  Say, if you don't want your name to be deleted, just add a couple of lines to the "delete user" function.  Whatever the actual name of the function is and what file it's in.
You could add:  if ($username=neoboffins)
                  and a statement to return to the previous page or an echo an error message.
Or, reference the UID for that particular user.

you have complete control from the database anyway, why bother making a mod when you can just jump on pma and mess with anything
