Hello,
FIrst I would like to say i love the look and feel of Se so far, I have used yabb 1 gold and thought it was great then I ran across se. You have a superb product as well as the people that help in and around the board. On a side note I also want to say I love the news feed which shows on my yabb board via xml, is it possible to learn how it is done. The reason I ask is it would be a great add in for a rpg fleet I am in. So we could share news and so on across our boards and fleets of vessel boards and or websites. Either way though I love yabb. Thank you in advance.

It fopen's the file, and reads in the xml.  Then, it splits it by an element.

It's pretty simplistic.  Look at the bottom of Admin.php.

I've actually got a _much_ better way in the works, which I hope to get integrated into Trinity (YaBB SE 2.0).

I would love to see it when you put it out, a friend of mine loves your work and asked if it would be possible to use the way you grab the news and fix it to show within the news fader instead of on the admin board.
