because this will be very nice.

YabbSE is good. But still lack some of the very important "not advanced" but essential features other boards have.

Since they are all SQL queries of the curent database, I don't understand why people don't integrate them with YABBSE.

No. YaBB SE 2 will be a totally NEW YaBB *g*

Of course some of the MODs will be included as "out of the box" features.... but most of them will be coded new because the new database-structure is very different and the new code will be much cleaner....

nh2, you asked about YaBB 2.0...

Note that YaBB 2.0 is NOT YaBB SE 2.0, they are two different versions. The first is Perl backed by a database, the second is PHP backed by a database.
