A mod like this would also be useful for forums with a lot of boards and not a lot of moderators. So new threads aren't overlooked.

Actually, the Notify Plus mod is more involved than this one. This one would simply notify admins/mods whenever a new thread or reply was posted to their forum. The Notify Plus allows anyone to subscribe to your forum at board level, plus includes the post and a reply link in the email notification. It also allows guest notifications and has some other features. However, the Notify Plus, as it existed for SP1, did not have an option to disallow board level notification and still notify admins/mods of new threads. Personally, I think even a mod that simply allows board level notifications would be cool.

hi Ravenesse, today I've start to search for this feature as well and have luck to find it here and it's main feature is to send notification on board level, I'm installing it now on my board for testing ;)

Always welcome Ravenesse, I've already install this mod on my board and it's work like a charm  ;D It's so save my time and time of Mods as they recieve notification when some posts is appear. Hope this feature would be built-in in the next YaBB release.

My attempts to install this board level subscribe mod did not work. BoardMod 2.5 does not seem to be designed for YaBB SE 1.4.1, and in doing so I appear to have locked myself out of the admin page :(

I suspect YaBB is a dying breed? There seem to be bits of it distributed over many domains, some dead, and no contiguity?

First of all, upgrade to 1.51. I have this mod (and a lot of others) installed on my board and it works fine (as far as I know - I haven't really tested it). As for locking yourself out of the admin page, there's not much you can do about that. If you really want to get back in, go download the safe-mode version of YaBB SE 1.41 and then reinstall any mods you had and upload all the files again.
