WHERE do I have to put WHAT to make it possible for my GM's to change the users profiles ?

I can't seem to find the right place(s) in Profile.php

Anybody ?

I think:

just find all of these "if($username != $user && $settings[7] != 'Administrator')" and these "if($settings[7] != 'Administrator')" and put && $settings[7] != GM

you change it to match the actual GM position.

I am just stopping in while cleaning the basement so I am not sure :(

Well, I guess not at ALL places, but that's just what I tried.....

Should it be &&, or !=, or == ??

It should be something like this:

if($settings[7] != 'Administrator' || $settings[7] != 'Global Moderator') {

it used && between $user and the is admin thingy so I would use && :)

If he uses && it won't work. Read it more closely it has a != in it. So if you are not an admin OR not a global moderator it gives off an error. That is how it works. My code is correct.

I am a bit further :

I get the ability to MODIFY the profile, it even opens the profile-page without errors.

When I want to submit the changes (if there are any), it gives me the error "This username already exists".....it points to .......forum/index.php?board=;action=profile2

But I can't find a relation between the error and the action......

Help ;) ?

there are a few if-statements, like if($settings[7] == 'Administrator') { blablabala

you have to replace that with if($settings[7] == 'Administrator' || $settings[7] == 'Global Moderator') { blablabal

You have to replace more than 10 if-statements  :-\
AND you have to ADD if-statements :-\

Well, I figured it out.

It wasn't that much replacements : just 4 or 5

Now it works for my GM's ;) !
