Add More Message Icons[/u]

This mod allows you to easily add new "Message Icons" to your forum.
Message icons are displayed when posting a new message (in the messageindex) or when replying etc.
For example, in Games Websites, you can have different Icons for different Games Consoles so your users know what system the thread is about. ;)

This mod is written using similar code to my Smilies Mod. So you may notice the administrative structure is similar.
The file is attached. ;)

i have installed the vb style message icons thats why it doesn't work sillie me lol. O well have to make do with the icons i got :(

You can always uninstall it :P

Anyway I know the one you mean and it's a really nice mod  ;) It just wouldn't really be possible for this mod to add new message icons that way, as they would take up a lot of space depending on how many you add..

Hey, what do i do first....upload the files edited with Boardmod...or upload the PHP files?

this is my first MOD using Boardmod with more then 1 file edited.

Does this work for YaBBSE RC1? When you add more message icons can they be used in every forum? I would love a mod that allows use of a different set of message icons for each board.

In other words if I had ten boards on my forums, I would have ten sets of message icons and each set would be restricted for use only in it's own board.

No I haven't updated it (As stated, 1.4.0/1.4.1).
And no, the message icons you add are used for all your forums. The other way would be quite big if I was to do it.
