Yep, not only has it been considerably faster for me, but the image problem was resolved at the same time.  I have had no problems with the board since you did whatever you did.  I don't have MSN btw.
There has been the odd time when it has been reasonably slow, but mostly, over the last two weeks it has been faster for me than ever before.

I was removing YaBB from my site before this, now I am sticking with it.

First time for me but this board is VERY slow for me today. Takes for ever to load the images, reply, smilies etc. Can't my connection because I have a very fast VDSL connection and all the other pages are normal. Just this board seems to crawl pretty badly.

I take that back.  Everything is fast except for the Board Index, which is very slow.

I am not happy because when I post a msg it jumps back to the list of boards not to my msg. Why is that? Am I the looser or ...?

It does that by default, that can be changed though if you search the boards for it...

The YaBB SP 1.1 Cgi Images load faster than SE images. Maybe SE should convert over to YaBB Sp1.1 images.

1)SE images are far larger the SP 1.1 Gold images
2)SE images Use More banwidth (if you have a site that gives a limited amount of banwidth)
3)Every second is important when loading a site so SE images wouldn't exactly be ideal. Exspecially when the server is slow.

So When I went across that I changed the SE images to SP 1.1 images. (Recommended for people who are on free hosts or whoever has a huge board)

bzsolt, you should start a new thread in Other help if you can't already find your answer which has been answered several tiems already.

As for the images, you can use the CGI images or you can make your own, we're not graphic designers
