...I got this error:

what does that mean?

check your Settings.php file and see if the settings you entered were actually saved to that file.

they wernt :( what should I do?

I'm using the zip safe version.

If it was just the settings, edit your file manually and then reupload it, no big deal - should work fine after that.

by the way, i did realize that it went from step0 to step2 to step4 (in the address bar) missing out all the odd numbers.is this because i'm using the safe mode version or could that be the problem?

Nevermind i found a way around the full path, but I'm not an admin  :'(

Hmm odd, go in and alter it manually ;)  Does it have an entry for the admin you created?

i'll change it, what do I need to put in the MemberGroup field?  administrator?

and it doesnt have a entry for the one i created during install, only the username i regestered normally :(
