Language pack
Right now you will have to create two seperate packages for a language pack (if you have translated images too):
  • Go to Admin > Package Manager > Create a new package
  • Put the filename of your language file (assuming you already uploaded it to your YaBB SE directory) in "Directory to pack" so for example: dutch.lng or german.lng
  • Leave the "Root directory" empty
  • Fill in the filename of the language pack in "Filename of package" make sure its extention is .lp.yp so for example dutch.lp.yp or german.lp.yp
  • Press "Go!"
  • If you translated the images too:
  • Create a directory in your YaBB SE directory, for example "dutchimages" in there create a directory YaBBImages copy/upload all your translated image files there
  • Go to Admin > Package Manager > Create a new package
  • Fill "Directory to pack" with the directory you created for your images (in my example dutchimages)
  • Fill "Root directory" with the same path as "Directory to pack"
  • "Filename of package" should contain the filename of the package to put these files in, for example dutch-images.lp.yp
  • Press "Go!"
  • You can now download the packages

Creating an avatar set
There are two ways to create an avatar set. The first is by just packing all your avatars into a package, the second is to create a seperate directory for your new avatars and packing that.

Packing all your avatars
  • Go to Admin > Package Manager > Create a new package
  • Put YaBBImages/avatars in "Directory to pack"
  • Leave the "Root directory" empty
  • Fill in the filename of the avatar set in "Filename of package" make sure its extention is .as.yp so for example moviestars.as.yp
  • Press "Go!"
  • Your avatars are now packed and can be downloaded from the Packages directory

Selectively pack avatars
  • Create a directory in your YaBB SE directory example called myavatars.
  • In there create a directory called YaBBImages
  • In YaBBImages create a directory called avatars
  • In there copy/upload all avatars you want to put in your avatar set
  • Go to your board to the Admin > Package Manager > Create a new package
  • In "Directory to pack" put the location of your "myavatars" directory relative to your YaBB SE path.
  • In "Root directory" put the same as you put in "Directory to pack"
  • Choose the filename of the package you want to create, but make sure it's extention is .as.yp
  • Click "Go!", your package will be created right now
  • If everything went alright you can download the package from your Packages directory now

@sheriffen:

Edit your language file and look if in some line 18 OR ABOVE at the end of the line there is always a semicolon ';' or that there is a ')' missing in the line starting with require_once.

Sometimes it is also missing " marks.
