Maintenance Package is Out!

I have added the maintenance release to the downloads section.

There are install instructions inside the package now as well as an upgrade FAQ in our FAQ board.

We tested on 10 systems, two had problems (one was repaired and the other was repaired after some manual editing).  

So lets hope all goes well...

I'm going out for a bit and am crossing my fingers that I am not swamped with errors when I get back ;)

Has anyone done an update using the regular download and not the safe mode?  After I upload the files do I just type out my domain http://www.mydomain.com/upgrade.sql and hit enter?

No rad you have to execute it with phpmydmin ora with the mysql telnet client.

Great! In other words this requires some knowledge and tools that I don't have at this time  :(  WHy couldn't it be as easy as running an install executable that would take you through the steps.  Damn,  I guess I will have to keep waiting. :-\

Is there anyone willing to help me out with this upgrade?  I just found out that I do not hav PHPmyadmin tool on my server :-[ which really sucks.  I have an existing Yabbse forum going already but I have little knowledge of PHP or mysql ???

I'm having trouble using converter.php I'm getting this error:


Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 46080 bytes) in /home/snoozer/snoozerland-www/yabbse/converter.php on line 12828
I can run the install fine but I'd like to convert my SP1 over.
BTW all the problems I had in the older version seem to be fixed! ;D ;D
