That would be really cool if you are willing!  We originally replaced the menu with your buttons but removed thme because they were too light.  Also if you were willing to make a button that says "forum" we would really apreciate it.  IM me if you need to.

The boardnation ZIP can be found here.  I kept the hue the same, but I did have to lighten her up just a touch.  If I made it too dark you lost the 3D effect, making it look like a square.  

Let me know if these work for ya.  None of the bigger buttons are in here since you are already using those, except the 'Reply' and 'New Topic' buttons (since I had to change their color).

I should have said this earlier but two more.    If you want I can make them if you don't have time.  "Forum Admin" and "Admin CP".  They can either have no graphics or the little wrench is fine.  Once again I love your graphics set and you should check out this thread, http://www.boardnation.com/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=138.  We are holding a template and button design contest and the winning design will become the defualt one for all hosted boards.  Maybe if you wanted we could make a few themes out of these and hosted boards when they sign up will get their choice of which to use.  Thanks again!

As for the contest...  I don't have a board I can easily test it on, and I'm a wee bit limited in time, but I can mock up a quick Photoshop version if you like...  Sounds cool though, I hope I can scrounge up some material to be able to test with

you know boys and girls, if you want to use these in the default YaBB SE 2 install, I'm game  

Maybe instead of an flat feel with gradient, it could have a 3d feel with subtle 'plastic' effects (the buttons were made with the 'plastic' effect).

Comments?  Or am I letting my ego get the best of me

I think the button sets are sweet, and I'd definitely want to see a new look for SE 2 (what would a new version be without a cooler look? The old judging a book by its cover thing.. ), especially with the PSDs available for easy customization (i.e. localization). I love the plastic/gel feeling, but rather than flat or gradient backgrounds in table cells, I'd like to see a plastic/gel background for the header table cells.

I'd also like to see a new set of UBBC buttons, icons like the exclamation point and question mark changed to be "plasticky," and the shaded set of smilies used, instead of the current flat-looking ones.

Well, you don't have to re-do the smilies, I think the ones in BHRA Webmaster's smilies collection, which are being used in Perl YaBB and which I was referring to, already have the right feel.
