New look

I'm working on a new 'Aqua' look for SE.  I shall attach a sample, please set me know what you think.

These are designed to go over a light background.  I'll do a dark one if people like these... If not I'll move on.  



I don't think I like the logout/login graphic...  Ideas?  I have the PSDs and the Apple ColorSync profile if anyone wants them  If the SE community decides that these look nice, I'll work on the other graphics in the forum.

I like them a lot. Would love to have those on my site with a bit different colour and maybe different icons. But the main picture with colours looks awesome.

Finishing up the rest of the icons... Then I'll Zip up the PSDs for you.  If you have ideas for icons, PLEASE let me know...  The hardest part is getting icons!!!

Already did.  Check out http://www.alphavideo.com/forum/index.php?board=8;action=display;threadid=16 to see what all the graphics look like together.  I think I can YaBBPac this, can't I?  Create a downloadable theme?  Now THAT would be cool!

This theme looks good on light backgrounds.  I have a version of this that will look good on drak backgrounds.  I grow bored of changing all these files, so I'll release the other colors later.  Unfortunatly I lost my copy of DropStuff, so I can't make a ZIP of the PSDs.  I'll re-download DropStuff and get the PSDs posted soon.




I'm still looking for better icons, so if anyone has some ideas, PLEASE let me know.  For now most of the icons are the defaults from the YaBB SE install.  I would like more photo-realistic icons if I can... Think Mac OS X

Ok, I have created a YaBB Pac and placed her on my server.  I had to guess at the format of the list file, se bear with the ugliness.

You can add my server to your YaBB Pac list by using:  http://www.alphavideo.com/forum/packages

I have every color online and ready to go.  If there happens to be a mistake, I also included the original YaBB SE 1.4 images as a backup (cool, huh).  NOTE that your images an d the directory have to be set to 777, or you will get a permissions error.
