I know, I know, this really isn't what you use a forum for, but...

I have a use for an online store integrated into the YaBB SE user database.  It would be nice if I could just have a page where I can upload product, images and all, then send them to a secure form (on my server) for checkout.  The order status and history would be available to them as part of the SSI.  So it would say something along the lines of 'You have 1 message, 0 are new.  You have 1 pending order'

Anyone know how to build this mod?  As stated before, I'm not a programmer geek, more of a graphics geek who appreciated all the hard work you guys have done :::smooch, smooch, smooch:::

Does anyone else have a use for this, or am I the only one?  As stated before, my goal is to tightly integrate the YaBB forum into every aspect of my site.  A godd CMS would be cool too ;)

Ideas, comments?

That is a huge job to make that secure.  If you want it that badly, I'd recommend actually hiring someone to do it - it's very unlikely you'll find someone who'll code that for you for free.

But, you never know - you may get lucky.

Good luck.

I think *most* of the security is taken care of by the SSL certificate.  As long as the database is encrypted, I think it's ok.

There are many, many, many PHP stores prebuilt on HotScripts.com.  I can get a store no problem, but what I *reallY* want is seamless integration to a central log-in (kinda like SpyMac).

Am I just off my rocker here?
