Integrated Gallery

Hey guys check this out.  I decided to mess around with the polls a little bit to see if I could put an image in there.  Well, it works.  Heck guys, we're halfway there with the poll mod.  Some formatting changes, and some code hacks here and there, and we could have a decent gallery mod with the ability for users to comment.  If somehow we could get it to work with imagemagik and do thumbnails, then it would be awesome!  What do you guys think?   ?? ?

oh well.  I thought there would be more intrest in this.  Guess not.  

I never heard back from Spymac and photopost doesn't plan on making a version to support yabb anytime soon so I guess we can scrub this one.

I'm one of the developers of Spymac. Sorry we didn't answer your mail, we have been caught up in other issues lately.  We do get quite a bit of mail regarding on Yabb SE installation... so much so, in fact, that I plan on making a FAQ explaining our methods after we finish installing 1.4.


Now, regarding Photopost (PP) integration:
Our photopost installation is fairly hacked, mainly because the current version is Perl.  I've had a few discussions with the developers of PP, and was the original person pushing for built-in Yabb integration.  The most progress I got was the developer saying he would look into [YaBB SE] and that he would try to integrate it with an upcoming version.  If others are interested in YaBB integration, I suggest you contact the developers of PP. They do listen to what their customers want.  I just have a feeling that only a handful of YaBB users have requested this.

The integration is not hard to do if you know what you're doing, BUT I highly suggest waiting for the PHP version of PP to come out.  It will make things much easier on you.

Thank you for the reply.  I appreciate that info.  I almost went and bought the perl version too.  It's probably best to wait for the php version like you said. Probably much easier to hack.  I just like photopost becuase I don't want my users registering everytime they go to a new section of the site.  I like how you integrated all of that.  Excellent site too.
