Instead of showing the Last Ten Posts.. would it be possible to show the Last Ten Topics??

I already show the last 5 posts in the stats.. and often find they all belong to the same topic.

Would be nice to see the last 10 updated topics... easy??

I agree with this one, I've already been asked to make the last 10 posts into the last 20 posts.

But I'd also like to see "Today's active posts" as well, It's something I used to use a lot on a very active UBB board.

Couldn't you just use the SSI functions for recent posts? That basical what the headlines stuff is? I use it on frontpage of my site to show last ten topics/posts... Just pull the code form that.
