I bet that this mod can't work with 1.4, too so feel free to be happy...what I can suggest u to do is..to do the looping check for the duplicated name and remove it from the array or not display it.. or go into subs.php modifying something not to let the program write the log table with the same name.

Anybody using this mod with 1.4? Seems as if there is a minor bug: The Username sometimes disappears after a reload - and is shown again after reloading a second time. And so on... Ideas how to fix this?

Since Vory is not going to do any more mods, can some Mod-God get permission from him to upgrade this to 1.4 and release it?  Pretty please....

It works fine on my 1.4.0 board with all fixes installed. I've also fixed no end of bugs with this mod, took me about 3 days to go through them all

Still can't fix the duplicate name entries and actions being applied to the wrong people. To fix the duplicate name bug I could put them into an array as Vory suggested, but this would slow it down incredibly if lots of people were online.

Whenever I view the page it always shows 1 guest for every user viewing the pages. Any ideas how to fix?

I think thats a GREAT idea!  

I finally made the switch over from SP1 to SE on Monday and I thought I could wait for the 1.4 version to come up, rather than install the older version.  Well, about three hours after the new software was up and running, I could not stand it anymore and installed the 1.3 version.  

I had grown so used to watching TV and being able to glance over at the monitor and see who was online.

I've tried to create my own Mod to do just that, because I miss it from my SP1 days, but I was not successful. I'm not sure it how it would work with PHP.

I've done this on my heavily modded version of the mod. To implement this, you need to edit your template file (note it must be template.php and not template.html or template.htm). Add this before the </head> line:

Now I may be wrong, but putting that in the template.php file will cause the pages to refresh on every page that uses the template ... which is every page. You only want the BoardIndex page to refresh ... otherwise it will refresh while someone is in the middle of typing a post right?
