FTP for apache

How do i make an ftp account for apache so i could just hop onto and ftp program and upload files to my site?

If you search around the Freeware section of WebAttack there's a lot of good quality FTP servers there.

BTW the FTP server isn't for Apache, they are two different protocols :)

But what you're describing, you need to setup your FTP server to link to your htdocs directory setup with Apache.

I really like proftpd.  It really works well and is secure.

ProFTPD, it is as good as it gets, as long as you are talking Unix.  www.proftpd.net
Windows is an entirerly different story.
