Ahh the cookies!
Is it possible to disable the cookies or could there be a way to make sure that the cookies from one board are valid for all the others ? Alternatievely some changes to loginout.php to remove the cookie after the member has logged out. I think the same would apply to each and every occurence of loginout.php.

Any ideas on how to do this would be gratefully received.

P.s I got the IMS working across both forums except i cannot find where to change the bit on the index page that says ' you have x number of messages' it shows 0 but when clicked it shows the messages so i need to get this to connect to the write table
This is coming on a treat!

The messages message is the header I do believe...although it's early here...take a look in Subs.php

Thanx for that, worked a treat. any idea what to do about the cookie situation i.e to delete etc when someone logsout so they dont appear in the other forums!!

Is there anything else that i should be looking at changin?

Not sure about cookies...I am almost sure it logs the domain so it is hard to use them across sites...
