[Done] [Update] Quick Register Mod - New Style/Option

Taken idea from the Idea board.
(this idea has been used by phptalk.com before)
You don't have to turn off random password fora new user. Just apply the correct file

• Apply (1) this old style mod or (2) this new style mod. (see description below) or (3) this new style mod without password box
  
  
• Add this or other HTML code to your language file.

$txt['quickreg1'] = "<b>Quick Registration</b>";
$txt['quickreg2'] = "<b>Quick Login</b>";

• Then change a position of <yabb VBStyleLogin> to wherever you want in template.php (you can change this from Admin menu)
  
  
• Enable VbStyleLogin in Admin ModSetting menu.
  
  Hope you like it... I created this by hoping that more people will register my board..  
  
  
  • The first mod file (1) is for the same look as talk.phptalk.com
  • The second mod (2) is for the new look like the image shown, a user can make his own password
  • The third mod (3) is for the new look but without the password boxes. This is for the system that wanna random the password and send to new user by email.
  Apply only one of them.. And look into your template, then move the <yabb VBStyleLogin> to wherever you desire it to display.

Hmm..I should learn to do it outside BoardMod It is so hard to do and reload and undo .. haha.. but at last..



I don't like the PHPTALK style.. above is my own style. You can get the release for new style from here.. it is different file from the old one.

If you want to change any style.. or adjust the table it is very easy to do if you know HTML. After the mod is applied.. go to Subs.php and search for

$yyVBStyleLogin =<<<EOT

You have birthdate on Registration Page??? I don't see it. I think you can add anything..  but I may need to change register.php for you. That is not worth making it as a mod

I am so lazy, if I do that.. I would do the BoardModPak insteads.. In my opinion, it is the replication to do two version everytime

Personally I don't like YaBBpaks, maybe that's because I tried to make a few... but for some reason nobody seems to be able to download them from the Packages directory at my board...

I know what is the point so what if the help file has reference to 1.1.0, it will still install it nonetheless.
