I doubt you would go for this idea but somebody has to say it.  What if you two work togeather on creating one kickass CMS?  Combine EZTarch and YaPPS, using ideas from both and create something really really really kickassly cool.

I really like the template for the YaBBSE but other then that your CMS looks like crap, the blocks are on the wrong side and your menu sucks.
I personally couldn't do what you've done (unless I really tried and wanted to do it) but there is the YaPP so I don't have to... anyhow I feel you need to work on more then just the images (that are, BTW, very good), like the layout, a layout is very importent, and your layout sucks...
It is because your layout, lack of control panel screen shots, and lack of a download that I will not (in this hour) download your CMS. I may however download it when it comes out to give it a review

as Kalin has mentioned before, he could make mods for YaPP.  I think that his talents would be better served working together with someone instead trying to compete against others.

Last time I looked, freedom of choice, was still one of the few things still available to us.  Along with freedom of choice goes the right to create if nothing, currently available, meets your requirements.

As Portals go, there are many but they all have a major weakness, they don't work with YaBB SE.  Then out Jedi comes out with YaPP, built around YaBB SE and indeed a workable solution.  However, just perhaps, it failed to meet all the requirements that Kalin had, so he created EZ-TARCH to meet HIS requirements.

The bottom line is simple, don't knock the efforts of anybody unless you can do better yourself.

When you look at all the mods available for YaBB SE, you will see many duplications, mods mearly ported from a YaBB Y1G mod or multiple authors.  Many people have decided that what's currently available doesn't meet their requirements so they have created something that does.  No-one seems to knock these people so whats the problem here?
