Error on new posts

I have done a search and it seems this error keeps popping up;

2: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource
(/home/boom/nonameclan-www/yabbse/Sources/Post.php ln 744)

Yes "Topic Summary Posts" has the default #15 in there, I changed it to 5 and then to 1 and now it's back to 15. It did not help.

I checked the code at line 744 in the post.php and noticed that the entire block referenced the notification system. I looked at the settings for the notification system by clicking on it's button and I disabled it. This did not correct this problem. This would seem to indicate further work is needed on the notification module. I just don't know what is needed to be done. Any help anyone can render would be appraciated.

Just a further note, I ran some tests to try and identify the source of this problem. I created a few test accounts on my forum. Logging in as a test user I created a test message. If I left the notification features enabled, I would get the error, if I disabled this feature, I could post without any errors.

The problem here is that I cannot ask the users of the forum to do this everytime they post a message, it would be impractical.

So how can I disable this feature as the default setting?
