Is there a possibility to show how much time somebody has been online (logged in) since he has registered ?

Now that would make some nice statistics!

You would have to assess each click:
* if not on the 'active users' list then add them.
* if on the list find the difference in time and add it to their total.

So long as people don't use Opera to auto-refresh

log_online has a logTime field that holds the time of the last click as a value of seconds counting from the beginning of 1970 (although that's not important).

All you need to do is:
* Create a timeOnline field for each user in their profile
* Alter the function that alters the log_online table so that if a record exists the time of the current record should be deducted from the new time and that value should be added to the timeOnline value in the user profile

I really like this idea as I want to make an advanced stats center for admins that can give them graphical breakdowns.

I'd be happy to help identify the code thatyou need to alter and help with it - it would be quite a simple mod to make.

As for making it in another mod - mine would look up the statistics - not log them. I'd use the values you stored to show the top 10, usage averages etc

I'll suggest this mod to Joseph and Jeff - I'd like to see this as an inbuilt mod or part of YaBB itself - it would be an alternative to the post count
