I have 1,2,3..questions

1 - What if one of my members lost his/her password, how can I get it back for them ? If im using YaBB Gold 1, just open my Ftp and go to the yabb dir, but with YaBB SE, using mySQL, even I can't find the right pass in mySQL control panel, everything's been coded

2 - Does YaBB SE really need to show the server user/pass right in the Admin Panel ? what if some hackers visit my site and they can hack the admin password, then login, and find out it ? is there any better way ?

3 - I've changed from Gold 1 to SE, coz I thought SE is now most secure, so is it really secured ? i meant , is it vunerable to hack ? and if so, how can I prevent it ? like if there's a mod or sth ?

4 - When clicking on the Detail Version check, i got this error : Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 4194304 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 737280 bytes) in /usr/home/v/e/veoclub/public_html/forum/Sources/Display.php on line 353
. how can i fix it ??

sorry for askin' a bunch of quest like this, but i really need the answer

 thanx

1. You can't actually retrieve passwords - they're encoded with one-way encryption. However, you can go into their profile and set a new one. Then just e-mail them telling them their password has been reset and that they should log in with it then change it>:)

2. I suppose it doesn't need to be their unless you want to move over to another database. However if your site is busy you should change the password on a regular basis and make sure it isn't easy to guess. :)

3. It's a lot more secure that most other boards - I mean you can always changed the password on a regular basis. :)

4. No idea :-\

Always get rid of install.php after installing, thats a good thing for safty.... Bcuz they can create an admin account there, and delete all the members

If they are written there the way they are written here, then its because you have a space between the "g" in "img" & the rear"]".....no spaces ;)

...if you give us the url to your board so we can have a look....we may be able to help you better!

the picture is there but with size width and height = "1"!
check your settings if you have set a sizelimit, or if you have changed the code in Subs.php!

If you're talking about my backup manager - it does work :)

Loads of people have had no problems - there was a couple to begin with but they're fixed now :)
