I get the error

Warning: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

on Step 4

Talked to admin and he told me everything but it still will not work!

It isnt enough to just have php and mysql.
Php have to be compiled with mysql.

is there an actual server address that you may have to use? not just localhost?

you have to change the $db_server = "localhost"; in Settings to the correct path or IP! the error means that php (db_connect) can´t find the mysql.socks (/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock)!
