So what is wrong with just adding all the names to a text field?  It would be a big process for the server if you have a large number of members no matter what way you do it.

just select the membername from the members and send it to them.  Not that hard to do

I think it would be faster as we could have fixed length numeric fields instead of variable length fields. It also makes better sense design wise and would make the code easier to understand.
