Win32 Support

Sadly my host is trying to shut me down because my "projected traffic" looks to exceed 30gb this month. Don't EVEN get me started... But anyway...

I tried to run YaBB Gold on Win32... and if you thought it was slow on n*x... think again... It was VERY VERY VERY slow on win32 (damn dllhost.exe).

This afternoon I installed PHP and MySQL on my Windows 2000 server here at home. Then I installed YaBB SE. I am amazed with the results! So much so that I did a mysqldump of my board over there and brought it home. Wow! The performance is nearly the same. I've going to leave it up for 24 hours to see how it does under heavier load but so far I can't tell the difference.

I haven't encountered a single problem.

I'll let you know how it does during peak hours tonight.
