I'm going to install 1.3.0 today (YAY) then spend half an hour scanning through every line of code in admin.php - that seems to be the only affected file so it must be doing something that GameSpy doesn't like...

I've e-mailed gamespy to tell them i had problems with YaBB 1.3 as well.

I've made a fixed admin.php (which lets you go to the Admin Centre)... if you give me somewhere to send it to, I'll have that off to you soon.

It was definitely the section of code that connected to YaBB's site... :-\

Anyway, I've got a new problem now :(

They might have a firewall issue, because you can't use the Package Manager either, yet safe mode is disabled...

i just noticed the pack manager thingy :S

It doesn't work, like you said, lol?

Oh well, at least the admin works. You can always manually install mods, i say :D

I just installed 1.3.0 but now the smilies mod doesn't work. The Post.php is messed up. Now I uploaded the 1.1.0 version of Post.php to my site and now the smilies work again. Can I just replace the 1.3.0 Post.php with the older version and it should work okay? Or does it break anything?

So it is... hmm.

I'll check the admin center as well, if it works then replace the one I sent you with the admin.php from the YaBB installation files.

Yep, the admin centre is working fine with the 1.3.0 admin.php ...

Looks like it *cough* fixed itself.  ;)

Yeah, I still think it was a firewall issue, it couldn't access the outside world, or at least the YaBB site.
