OK, the most common issue people have had when experiencing this problem is locked tables. I personally do not have this problem, but check each table to see if it says something like "Table in use". If so, report back.

Hmm weird stuff.  Like mach8 says, check for in use in tables.  It has shown up on some hosts.

Also, a host will NEVER admit they have an issue ;)

Gamespy is professional about it, but they say they don't support third party software :'(.

If you click the table name, then scroll to the bottom where it says Table Maintenance, click Check.

I guess i'll e-mail gamespy tech support tomorrow (since i won't have access to my other PC tonight), and tell them about the problem we are having :S.

This is something they should sort out.

Also, i installed YaBB 1.3 and i still have the same problems with the admin area.
