Weird, it cuts off after the first letter of the file extension, everything else seems ok.

Yeah, these latest problems are very annoying... The autolinking worked perfect until a couple of days ago (after Joseph's changes a couple of weeks ago).

no, it wasn't working perfectly.

I have kept the old code...but there were still a number of places it was crapping out.

booya.

the autolinking should be much better now.

I haven't been able to break these regexes (4th edition of them now)  they should be able to take query strings, anchors etc.

yes they should for 2 reasons.

a) sometimes a query will end up passing no arguments so it is a blank query string.
b) it doesn't hurt the functionality of the URL, so I didn't bother taking it out.
